Beyond the Headphones: Designing a Universe of Voice.
Nooble is a micro-podcasting app designed for young millennials, with aspirations to evolve into a social media platform centred around audio. After successfully securing pre-seed funding, their goal was to create a brand that captured their core ethos and long-term vision. The Challenge Most existing podcast apps used predictable imagery of people listening to audio, leading to a crowded and unimaginative visual landscape. The challenge was to break away from this trend and create a brand that felt fresh and forward-thinking, rather than just another self-improvement app. We needed to define what the world of a micro-podcasting social media platform could look like.
The Solution Our creative strategy was built on two core themes: Exploration and Community. We saw Nooble as more than an app—it was a space for discovery, where users could explore new ideas and form genuine connections. Inspired by the metaphor of space travel, we created a visual concept that represented this sense of boundless discovery. This cosmic theme was balanced with a playful, relatable touch through the introduction of quirky mascots. These characters were designed to represent the Nooble user, navigating this digital universe and building connections along the way.
The Output The final output was a dynamic and vibrant identity system that brought the strategy to life. The logo reimagined a pair of earbuds as rockets, complete with energetic fumes, to cleverly merge the concept of audio with our theme of space exploration. The overall design language uses bold imagery and a sense of movement to reflect the platform's lively and ever-evolving nature. The result is a brand that celebrates Nooble’s mission: to be a digital world where voices are heard, ideas are exchanged, and meaningful relationships take root.
